1. What is this Kit

• This is a gate automation - gate opener Kit.  It provides with two KingGates remote-control units - Stylo.
• This Kit is suitable for standard single wing -hinged gate of 0.6 to 1.75 meters length, and up to 175Kg.
• This Kit is solar powered.
• The MiniModus Kit comes with emergency manual gate release keys.

2. This Kit is best for gate installed on a pillars, walls, posts:

       The motor unit of this Kit is suitable for installations on pillars, walls, wood posts etc. The motor width         is 155mm.

       This motor suitable for opening inward gate.

       The MiniModus is a folding - articulated arm motor. It makes this Kit tolerable for different gate                                               hinges, fittings and designs.

       This Kit is based on 24V motor units, drive gears and articulated arms.

3. How to order this Kit

      The initial Kit Configuration is sufficient for standard automation installation and including two remote control Units.

      The initial items of the kit are essential, and therefore cannot be altered.

       Optional additional items can be added to the Kit, as per the required configuration.

       Quantities of the optional items are limited to be the most suitable for this Kit.

       Quantities can be changed on the cart before finalizing the order.

       When items required but not in this kit, it can be added later. This will be done before finalizing the order.

       For example, the Kit allowing up to 10 additional remote-control units. if you need more, go to the Stylo remote control         item and add more to your order.

4. The solar MiniModus single swing automation Kit including:

• One (1) Master MiniModus motor. The electronic control unit is included in the motor.
• Two (2) remote control units.
• One (1) solar panel 40W with mounting bracket and 500 mm post.
• One (1) solar power box 172 watts including batteries and charger.

5. Optional - advanced setup (not in this Kit)

Advanced similar setup can be chosen. A combination of:

• MiniModus “Slave” motor Unit (SWM-MINMOD-SLAVE).
• Solar power and control box (SOL-SWB-G824-2R).
• All other items are as in this Kit.

6. Optional additional items with this Kit
   • For unworthy pillars - Larger 200 x 200 x 8 mm installation plate.
   • For more security - automatic electric locking, and cable protector.
   • For more users – up to 180 remote-control Units.
   • Make it Safer - with infrared safety sets, one or two sets, to prevent the gate from closing on objects.
   • Keyless entry and exit with digital Keypad(s), with wires or wireless connection to the system.
   • Carry fewer remote-controls with you -  open the garage door with the gate STYLO remote-control by adding a receiver (subject to the garage door motor).
   • For extending the remote control operation range – Antenna allowing opening the gates from farther distance away (depend on reception at the gate area).

7. This Kit not including the following:

• Installation tools.
• Bolts for fitting the motor’s brackets to the gate, and the gate post / wall
• Cable - 2 x 1.5 mm copper section wires, to connect between the motor Unit and the Solar power Box. Recommended double insulation, round external shape, flexible. This cable is standard electrical cable.
• When Infrared safety sensors chosen:  4 wires cable. Standard “Security/ data cable” recommended. Copper section of 0.25 to 0.5 Sq. mm, check for the length from the position of the safety units (usually on the gate posts) and to the Motor Unit.
• When electric lock chosen: Cable – 2 x 0.75 Sq. mm, copper wires section. Recommended double shield cable with external diameter of not more than 6mm diameter, cable length is from the lock position to the motor.

1. Safety sensors requirements

This Kit can be setup in 4 different operation methods:

For step by step setup (open/stop/close) - safety sensor Sets are recommended.

For automatic closing setup - one infra-red safety sensor Set is compulsory .

For better safety - two safety sensors Sets recommended, on exit and entry sides.

11. The MiniModus motor Unit

The MiniModus is Italian style, 100% Italian Made, state of the art gate opener. The MiniModus will easily open standard hinged wing of up to 2 meter-long, and 250kg in weight.

(These limits are for mains power, and already downgraded for this solar powered Kit).

The width of the motor unit is 155 mm only, enabling installation in narrow spaces. The unit operates 24V, and including electric motor, drive gears and Articulated arms. The MiniModus equipped with emergency manual gate release Key.

The MiniModus unit Colour is silver/ grey, make it match to various gate colours.

The brackets supplied and ready to bolt on the gate wings and the walls / posts.

The motor including adjustable Stopper usually use to determine the full opening position of the gate

This MiniModus comes with 3 years Allegro and KingGates warranty.

Wires connections are by screw terminals suitable for 2x 1.5mm, make it easy for wiring connections (the cable is not including in this Kit).
