This is gate automation Kit, for standard double wings swing gate up to 3.4Meters long, and up to 350Kg in weight

2. How to order this Kit:

Quantities of items in the kits can be determine as per your special needs and requirements.

• The essential items of the kit cannot be changed
• Optional items can be added to the Kit. Quantities of the optional items are restricted to what can be used with this Kit (if you still need more of any of the items, please order the item separately on this shop. For example, the kit allowing up to 12 Stylo remote controls. if you need more then 12, go the Stylo remote control item and order as many as you wish, and add to your order.

3. What included in the basic kit

• Two (2) Couper Motors
• One (1) Solar power-control TAR-G8-SOLAR in weatherproof Box.
• One (1) 40-Watt, Allegro Solar Panel, with 6-meter cable.
• One (1) Adjustable mounting bracket for the solar panel.
• One (1) 500mm long mounting post for the solar panel.
• Two (2) KingGates Stylo remote control units with 4 buttons.
• Two (2) Motor’s post mounting Bracket -welded ready to install on min 100mm width posts.

4. What is not included in this kit that you will need:

• Technical knowledge with gate automation 
• Installation tools.
• Bolts for fitting the motor’s brackets to the gate wings, and to the gate post.
• Cable to connect between the motor and the control box. The cable should be flexible cable, with 2 x 1.5Sq mm copper section, recommended to be double insulation with round external shape. This cable is standard electrical cable.

• Only when Infrared safety sensors:  4 wires cable required. Standard “Security/ data cable” recommended. copper section not more than 0.5Sq mm. check for the length from the position of the safety units (usually on the gate posts) and to the control box.
• Only for electric Lock: flexible cable - 2x0.75Sq mm copper section wires, recommended double shield cable with external diameter of not more than 6mm diameter, cable length is about 4meters, from the lock passion to the control box.

5. More about this Kit - Couper double swing, solar powered gate automation Kit

This solar powered automation Kit, suitable for standard single wing swing gates, up to 3.4-Meter-long, and 175Kg in weight. If gate wings are less in weight, the length can be slightly larger.

The colour of the motor units is natural silver-grey, make it a match for any colour of gate. The control box is grey colour.

The Kit default option is suitable and sufficient for automation system. Choose to add additional optional items to the default basic configurations as per your requirements and needs.

• The Couper is Italian style, state of the art gate opener. The width of the motor unit is 104mm only, enabling installation in narrow spaces. The unit based on 24V motors, drive gears, and worm drive actuator. The Couper equipped with emergency manual gate release.

1. Installation information

• The solar Panel must be installed in a place exposed to the sun ray, from the sunrise to dusk. Any obstacle as trees, building etc, may affect the reliability of the system. Two panels can be installed, if no sufficient exposure to the sun. Each panel facing different direction to get more sun / charge during the entire day. For more power, more panels and larger batteries can be used
• Make sure that your gate is suitable for this kit. Refer to the geometry requirements in the installation booklet of the motor, the booklet can be seen and downloaded from the installation manual list, on this shop website.
• Fit the power control box near the gate, you may extend the solar panel cable
• You can choose the most suitable post bracket, as per the design of the gate and hinges choose options at the Kit.

10. Safety sensors requirements

• minimum one set of infra-red safety sensor is required for automatic closing setup.
• for step by step setup mode (open/stop/close), the Safety sensor(s) recommended but not compulsory. check for the legislation in your area if different. 
• you are welcome to choose any of the other optional items as per your needs and requirements
